What UK GDPR means for us
UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 set the rules for how organisations use personal information in the UK. In practice, that means we:
- Tell you why we need your information and use it only for those reasons.
- Ask for what we need, and no more.
- Keep information accurate and for no longer than is necessary for the purpose.
- Look after it with appropriate security.
- Respect your rights to access, correct or erase your information, and to raise a concern with the ICO.
Enquiries and the contact form
When you send an enquiry through our website, the details you provide are emailed to us so we can reply. That submission is handled by FormSubmit and delivered to [email protected]. Please do not include resident or staff personal information in the form. If we agree consultancy work, we will arrange a secure way to share documents.
Confidential records for consultancy
Records shared for an agreed service are handled securely and confidentially, and used only for that purpose. Retention and deletion are agreed with you before work begins. As the care provider, you remain responsible for having the authority and lawful basis to share those records with us.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
Your rights and the ICO
You can ask us about the personal information we hold, and ask us to correct or erase it where appropriate. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
